Packing for storage
Good packing matters even more for storage than for a move. A few tips:
- Use sturdy boxes of similar sizes so they stack well.
- Wrap fragile items properly and fill gaps with paper.
- Make sure furniture, fabrics and appliances are clean and completely dry before they go in.
- Label every box clearly and keep a simple list of what is where.
