Customs paperwork after Brexit
Moving household goods from the UK to Spain now involves customs paperwork. Typically you will need:
- A detailed inventory of your belongings
- Proof you are moving your residence to Spain, such as a rental contract, property deeds or registration at your new address
- Proof of your previous residence in the UK
- A copy of your passport and your Spanish identification number if you have one
