Fiona and Chris hold International Certificates of Professional Competence. Marine insurance for shipments abroad must be arranged by you directly.

Where is 1st Choice Removals based?
We are based at Unit 11, Canford Business Park, Magna Road, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 3BT, between Wimborne, Poole and Bournemouth. The business began in nearby Canford Magna in 1990. From here we cover the whole of Dorset, including Christchurch, Ferndown, Broadstone, Verwood, Ringwood and Blandford.
Do you use agency or casual staff?
No. Every 1st Choice move is carried out by our own full-time, uniformed crews, and we do not use agency staff. That means the people packing and carrying your belongings work for our family business and are trained in the way we like things done, from protecting floors and banisters to wrapping fragile items.
Can you move me to another part of the UK?
Yes. As well as local moves across Dorset, we move people to anywhere in the UK. Longer moves start with the same free survey, so we can plan the vehicle, crew and timings before giving you a quote. For distant moves we can load on one day, keep your belongings secure overnight and deliver the next day.
